Scottish Schools Pipe Band Championships
Well done to Skye youth pipe band who joined up with the Lochalsh Junior pipe band to play together at the Scottish Schools Championships in Edinburgh.
With the summer approaching we are getting ready to be very busy! Some Engagement dates for diaries...​
25th May, Dunvegan Gala- leaving Portree at 12pm
7th June, Portree High School highland games- weather permitting.
12th June, Junior prize giving- 7pm at the school
13th June, Senior prize giving- 7pm at the school
14th June, Local MOD- 16.30 at Portree primary
21st June, Uist trip! Times to be confirmed.
27th June, School concert- Portree High School, times to be confirmed
27th July, Dunvegan show- leaving Portree at 12pm
7th August- Isle of Skye highland games- Skye HQ, Times to be confirmed
Times will be updated nearer the time!
This weekend the band are heading over to Uist to play at a workshop with the Sgoil lionacleit pipeband. While over there we are also going to be playing at a ceilidh in the Dark Island hotel.
